DISTRICT CENTRE FOR ENGLISH
The District Centre of English (DCE) is set up by MHRD under the supervision of EFLU (English and Foreign Language University), Hyderabad to bring in a qualitative improvement in the teaching and learning of English.
Training Programmes 2023 – 24
Objectives
- • To familiarize teachers with modern methods and techniques of teaching English.
- • To provide training to all teachers of English in the district.
- • To develop into an ELT Resource Centre for the benefit of teachers of English in the district and the community as a whole.
- • To ensure language fluency in English teachers from primary to secondary levels.
- • To make the teachers confident in using the target language.
- • To act as a resource centre for the district catering to the needs of the schools in the district.
